Creating a Siggy Link

If you have a googlepage bio or a bio made by something other than stlwed.com you need to copy your bio weblink and go to tinyurl.com.

1. Once at tinyurl.com you need to paste your weblink into the empty line and click "Make tinyurl".

2. Once you do that it will bring you to a new page with a link that is bold.

3. Copy that link and paste it into your web address bar, to unbold it, copy it again from there and then paste it into this code:  <a href="tinyurl.com.4939284">Insert your words here</a>

4. Write in what you want the link to say.

5. Take that code and copy it.

6. Go to theknot.com and log in.

7. Click on "Talk"

8. Under where it says Community and "Welcome back " are two links. Click on "edit my profile"

Boudoir Picture Tips

As written by jfriend!

1. buy a bottle of wine.
2. drink a glass before you even start getting dressed.
3. turn on some tunes that make you feel sexy.
4. remember who you're doing this for. :)

some other things to think about to get your body ready that i've learned along the way:

* shave everything only within 8 hours of when you're going to have the session...especially your bikini line. it's normally after the 8 hour mark when redness begins to occur. and use a brand new blade to ensure you get the closest shave. :)

* if you're not having your makeup professionally done, put on two thin layers of foundation. this will provide maximum coverage and look great on camera. be generous with the powder on your t-zone as well.

* make sure your fingernails and toenails are clipped. i can't tell you how many times i've seen a beautiful picture taken and the model has the funk going on with her feet, or crazily bitten fingernails. if you can't afford to get your nails done (which i can't and even if i could i wouldn't) file them so they're at least smooth and throw some vaseline on those cuticles for a couple days prior to the session to soften them up a bit.

* bring baby/dry oil with you to the session. use this on your legs. it will reflect light very well and make them appear more streamlined. slather a light layer on from your thigh to your toes.

* if you didn't get enough sleep and are experiencing puffy eyes - hemmeroid (sp?) cream will work wonders.

*even if you are not wearing any other eye makeup - take a tad bit of white eyeshadow and run it on the inside crevice of your eye where it meets the side of your nose. it will lighten this area up and instantly brighten your eyes.
